Asparagus was already cultivated in the 16th century, at that time as a vegetable of the nobility. That is why the spears are still called white gold.

Enjoy the Viennese classic in a modified form: Rib eye steak à la Viennese roast beef style served with potatoes or pan fried potatoes with bacon and onion, fried onion as well as jus.
